You can set up a Google Business Page for your client in various ways. In my opinion, the best options are as follows:
Create a brand new Google account, so your client have full ownership of the business page. Here is the process:
- Set up a personal google account under the client’s name. Visit the following link to do so: Create your Google Account
- Set up the business page(s) from the Google account you’ve just created. To set it up navigate to the Pages section of the Google+ page.
Transfer ownership from your Google Account to your client’s. After you create the Google Business Page, follow these steps:
- From your Google+ account, give "management access" to the client by going to the Pages section. Once in Pages, select the business page you want to transfer ownership. Then click on the menu link (the three white dashes) located on the top left corner of the page and select Managers from the drop-down – see image below:
Then invite your client to be a manager – see image below:
Keep in mind Google makes changes periodically, so how to access the Managers section could change.
- You can transfer ownership to to the client once he/she has been a manager for one day. To transfer the ownership navigate to the Managers tab. Once in Managers, find the client’s account, click on the drop-down to the right, and then select "Transfer ownership to."
